Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2025
1. No Patient Data Collected
All calculations in PaediaRx happen locally in your browser. Weight, age, sex, and drug inputs are never sent to any server. We have no access to any clinical information you enter.
2. Google Analytics
PaediaRx uses Google Analytics (GA4) solely to understand how the tool is used — specifically anonymous aggregate statistics including page views, session counts, device categories, and geographic regions (country/city level).
What Google Analytics does NOT receive from PaediaRx: patient weight, patient age, patient sex, drug names you look up, dose calculations, or any clinical inputs. These never leave your device.
Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation enabled. This means your full IP address is never stored by Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. No Accounts Required
PaediaRx requires no registration, login, or account creation.
4. Offline Caching
PaediaRx caches the app code and drug database in your browser's Cache Storage to enable offline use. This cache contains only app code and formulary data — no patient information.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Google Fonts (typography) and Google Analytics (anonymous visitor statistics). Google may log font requests. No patient data is shared with any third party.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
